Interactive Narrative 27/10/06

9.00 a.m. (lecture 2) Interpreting Photography
In this lecture we were shown clips of various films that showed composition, movement, lighting, colour, sound and quality. We were shown how different shot sizes are interpreted by the viewer and how these shots are used to introduce characters.

2.00 p.m. (seminar 2)
We were given a video camera to experiment, manually changing the aperture, shutter speed and light balance. In groups of three we experimented with the camera outside and changing the settings to see what would happen. I enjoyed the experience of experimenting with the video camera and feel more comfortable using it
